Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
"i have lived in the United States for 21 years. I was able to apply for the deferred action. Been married to a Veteran for about 4 years now. We want to know how would we go about on trying to get my citizenship since we don't have any kids together?"

We've handled a bunch of these cases. Your marriage will permit you to apply for a visa petition. Then, depending on your circumstances, you can either file for a provisional unlawful presence waiver and depart the U.S. and obtain your status at the consulate abroad or you can file to adjust status here in the States. Hire a lawyer to ensure your rights are protected and that everything within the contours of the law is done to keep your family united.
