How long does it takes to acquire American documents after marrying an American

I am a fiance to an American girl and lives in the USA.so i am therefore enquiring about how long does it takes to get a fiance visa from the USA immigration board.

i have applied for it since july 19th 2002 and i am still awaiting for my comfirmation.my number is OMB NO.1115-0066.

So i have no idea abouy how long it takes,i mean the duration of the visa processing.

She should have applied for a fiancee visa for you with the INS here in the U.S. Ask her! She has the receipt from the INS. It usually takes 3 to 6 months but right now things are slow with the INS.

By the way, OMB NO.1115-0066 is not a valid receipt number. I have no idea what that is.
