Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

marriage and immigration

I would like to marry my American fiancee and live in the US. I am a Canadian. We just had a son together on Sept 16th. What is the best way to do this and what are the implications for crossing the border if any with my son?

As a Canadian, there are a couple of different options available to you.

The most common being the K-1 fiancee visa or the K-3 spouse visa.

The best way to do it is by getting married and applying for a K-3 visa in Canada, entering the U.S. with a K-3 visa, and adjusting status to permanent residence ("green card") once you are here.
