Got married outside the U.S

I just got married outside the US, I am a permanent resident, now that I am back in Los Angeles, Im thinking of getting my husband to come here..where to start? help!

You really need really good legal advice, big time because you may or may not be able to accomplish what you want timely. I'm a certified specialist for close to 30 years and if some thing can help your new spouse, I can do it, but you very much need advice.

You can file an immediate relative petition on behalf of your husband (Form I-130) and then you can do two things: 1) Wait until the priority date (waiting period) becomes current so he can come to the U.S. (It may take a few years); or 2) become a U.S. Citizen and then you don't have to wait for the priority date and your husband can come to the U.S. as soon as you become a U.S. Citizen.
