Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
if i am married to a resident and applied for residency in 1996 and then again in 2005 because i got married how long will it take to become a resident
1 Answer from Attorneys
If you mean your spouse is a lawful permanent resident (green card holder), the wait is about 4 years to get your green card through a lawful permanent resident spouse. That being said, more details are needed to adequately address your question. Why did you apply for residency in 1996 and then again in 2005? How did you enter the country?
