Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

we want to get marroed in the USA

I am on an H1 and my fiancee on EAD (last stage of Greencard). we want to get married in the USA. His company is very well known and we want my parents to be sponsered by him (papers to be sent from his company)for a visitors visa. His parents will not be attending the wedding and have not been sponsered for the same . Is it possible to get my parents a visitors visa through my fiancee? Do we need legal help?

Re: we want to get marroed in the USA

When you say "my fiancee on EAD (last stage of Greencard)", I take it that you mean that he does not even have permanent residence yet. That means he is waiting for an adjustment of status interview so that he can get a green card, and stop needing the employment authorization document (EAD or work permit).

Also, I don't understand why you think your parents need your fiancee's help to get tourist visas. If the reason they're coming to visit the U.S. is to attend your wedding, they can apply on their own and state that as the reason for the visit. Your fiancee has no saying in that. This is not a situation where your parents are "sponsored" by anyone.

Your parents can get a visitor's visa either to attend the wedding or just to visit. You can use your or your future spouse's income as evidence of how their expenses will be covered while in the United States.
