Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Upon marrying a US citizen, in order to file I-130 form, do we submit the actual marriage certificate or just marriage license endorsed by the solemnized person is enough? I heard it takes about 6-8 weeks after the marriage occurs to get the actual marriage certificate in CA, I am short of time.

You should file the certified marriage certificate, otherwise they will RFE you for it later on, which will delay your case. Don't forget to file the I-485 package, too.
If you need assistance, or have any further questions, please feel free to contact my office! Thank you.
Please file after you get marriage certificate. For further questions, please contact our office at 619-922-5287 or 619-501-1616.
