Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Marrying my UK citizen girlfriend.

Hello,

My girlfriend is a UK citizen who is visiting on a tourist visa. My parents met her while vacationing in Scotland and arranged for us to meet. We are quite happy together and we have decided she would move to the USA so we could be together. We want to get married and live in the US but she would need the ability to work here as soon as she can legally return. She leaves back to Scotland december 10, 2007 and would like to return late january to stay. What can we do to make all this happen? Thank you for your time!

You may find more information on applying for lawful permanent residence while she is in the US (and after you are married) here:

Otherwise, you would go through the K-1 fiancee visa process.
