Misdemeanor affecting citizenship

He was convicted of misdemeanor grand theft. Served 3 years probation. Parents became citizens before he was 18. This is the only spot on his record. Can he still be a citizen?

The applicant need to first obtain an expungement order from the judge. Prepare a package, complete with arrest record, court docket, and expungement order, and a detailed cover letter. It is best that the applicant be accompanied by an attorney during the citizenship interview.
