non-residant case

Hi,

i work in LA - CA as an Account since 4 months. the company want to dismiss me after 1 month. is there a way to stay in US? just for to guarantying a second job.

i contacted an employer for a job, he's is process of filing. how can i track and be sure that he's is in process of hiring me?

is there anyone that can help me? plz

It is very important that you stay on top on this and try not to fall out of status. This could have potentially damning consequences later, especially if you are hired and plan to change status while in the US.

I would recommend trying to convince your present employer to put you on unpaid leave (so that you are not formally laid off until you are hired by the new company). Failing that, I would IMMEDIATELY file for change of status to B-1 B-2 using Premium Processing.
