Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I have obtained my green card in June 2010 through family (with my daughter). The card will be expired in June 2020. In March 2012 I changed my last name due to marriage. I have changed my driving license and SS card on my husband's name. Does the Immigration law requires to replace my green card now or I can keep it as it is and show it together with a marriage certificate when I travel to my native country? Can I keep my green card with my previous last name on it until I apply for citizenship in 2-3 years?
