Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Not get paid between H1 transfers.

Dear Sir, applied for my H1 in month of Sept last year, and we received a receipt in few weeks but after getting that receipt I didn't go to work for my employer since he didn't have any work for me meantime I got another offer and I transferred my H1 to new employer with getting approval on 1st. So Now my H1 with 2nd company is approved but since 1st company didn't follow up on the H1 they applied that H1 get rejected. I got approval form 2nd comp nay and then rejection form 2nd which way applied earlier. Point is 1st was applied for California center and second one was from Vermont. After getting my approval and left for Canada. Now I have a third offer can I ally for H1 with third company even though I don't have any pay stubs. Will this effect my GC process.

Thanks

Murli

Re: Not get paid between H1 transfers.

Your many H1B transfers may make your adjustment process (to green card) a little bit complicated, but you should be fine with the help of a competent attorney.

Transfers of H1 without paystubs may not be a problem...but during GC process...they may ask you to explain the gap in your employment history. Too many transfers are being frowned upon by INS!!
