Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

My parents were never married and i was born in mexico and my father(us citizen) never got to signing my birth certificate. i lived with him since i was about 1 yr old in california and my mother.when i was about 9 he signed a declaration of paternity. he filed i-130 for me when i was 20. we sent the declaration of paternity and my school records showing his involvment in my life growing up. recently they requested a dna test which we both found out he is not my biological father. so my petetion got denied. we have about 30 days to appeal and he wants to help me get my residency as how he will always be my father. what is the best way to go thru this? what do i need to get my petetion accepted? what steps should i take?

You need an immigration attorney. Please see one as soon as you can if this is really important to you. This is a very complicated and costly issue to fix if it is possible to even fix it. Good Luck.
