Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

How can I become perminent resident of the US if I was born in Mexico but was brought here as a child and have been attending school since the now I am 18 and in my last year Of high school and have been doing well?

Generally, an immediately family relationship to a US citizen would allow you to apply for permanent residence: a spouse, mother, or father.

Keep in mind that unlawful presence begins to accrue after you turn 18. 6 months or more of illegal presence would mean you would be subject to the 3/10 year bars if you leave the U.S.
