Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I have petitioned for my wife and my child and now the case is at the NVC, it's been a month now since I've send ALL of the documents they need but haven't received the appointment date with the u.s consulate, I called and they said the have not received the civil documents but I am really sure it is there, what could be going on? Probably they haven't touched the physical mail yet?

If you contacted the NVC & they claim they have not received the documents, I suggest re-sending it to them by courier service, express mail or certified mail. NVC always sends a confirmation email when requested documents have been received.
