Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Here's another question that bothers me....

1st of all, thanks for all your inputs to ''Please help...'' message. It seems that it's impossible for me to apply for any paperworks, therefore I've decided to go back to my country. But I have one problem, I was brought here by my mom and used the same passport with her at the first place. However, she'd left the US without me. Now I stuck here :( with my own passport that has already been expired long time ago (this passport isn't have any INS stamps on it, I just brought it with me when I first came here). All I want to know is,... Will I be detain for questioning on the spot (airport) if I were going to buy a ticket and leave?

Please be specific......Thank You

U.S. airport authorities don't really care if your passport is expired since you're leaving. Your country's authorities, on the other hand, that might be a problem when you land. Get your mom to meet you there and explain the situation.
