Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I received a 16 month sentence in california in march 2003 for a dui resulting in a car accident. I been a permanent resident since 1995 and all my family lives here and theyre citizens. I got out of prison in december 2003, finished my probation and havent got in any trouble since then. My green card expires in december 2012. I want to become a US Citizen. What do you recommend? Im pretty sure I have to get an immigration attorney. Please respond! Thank you!
