Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Is it better to renew DACA or have my wife help me? She is a US-born citizen. My DACA is due to renew in January and we are not sure what is the best option; to wait for citizenship or renew DACA for now?

I have been in the country since before I could even talk. I am now 21 and my parents were approved for citizenship they applied for in 2001. They were approved in 2005 but barely found out in 2014. However, I got married and I do not qualify with them any longer. What are my options?

Hi. I'd love to review your entire immigration history. I'd like to see if you're eligible for permanent resident status through your wife and correspondingly whether DACA is even necessary anymore. Feel free to give our office a call.

If you are protected under 245 (i), you might apply for green card in the U.S. through your wife, since she is a U.S. citizen. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney to review your parents' application in 2001 to find out whether you're eligible for 245 (i).
