Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I am a US resident through marriage and i am about to go to my second and last interview with my wife (have already gone for my biometrics) but have recently separated. What do i need to do to keep my residency? We still have our joint accounts that we both use and she is still on the house lease that we have been renting. Thank you!

Why are you concerned about your U.S. residency? If you have the indicia of domicile, e.g., you file taxes, you vote, you have a job in the U.S., you have close family/friendship ties in the U.S., you have a U.S. drivers license, then these should suffice.
