Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
revoking a green card
I'm going to go through a divorce pretty soon and i have been married with my wife for 5 yrs this year. she has been liying too me since i could remember (dating) she lied to me about her past marriage i found out when i went to signed her green card papers, even after i ask her many times if she has been married before and she always told me NO. but that's not the part that I'm upset, she has changed so much since she has recieved her green card. a yr after our marriage she started doing everything with out tell me anything, she would just tell me that WE have an appointment with a lawyer about her green card. she borrowed the money from someone else to pay for the fees. and after we completed 3yrs she changed even more i tried to change my ways to see if that was it but it just didnt work. we have 1 child together and i do everything for him and she can't spend a few hrs with him becuz she gets frustrated. i asked her if she got married to me just for the green card and she just smiles and says no. she has and does what she does becuz of me, becuz i supported my wife through her school and everything she wanted to do and became, now that im going to school she can't even help me with our son. CAN I TAKE BACK WHAT I GOT FOR HER

Re: revoking a green card
No. It's too late. She has her green card and whatever you may report to CIS investigations, they won't do anything. Given the length of marriage, the fact that you actually have apparently lived together all this time and most importantly, the fact that you have a child, you won't even be successful trying to get an annulment because you won't be able to prove green card fraud.
You can divorce her, and that will only mean she'll have to wait longer to naturalize.
