Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

my roomate confess to me she is illegal immigrant she also confess to me she open a mail letter that has my name . what legal matters can i take into action regarding her legal status in the u.s.a and for opening my mail. ??

Although tampering with mail is a federal offense, I would not recommend bothering the authorities with your roommate opening a letter. Furthermore, there is not much you can do regarding her legal status. USCIS has more pressing issues than to investigate your roommate's legal status.

If you are that unhappy, I suggest you move out, or have the roommate move out.
