Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

If I sign a financial affidavit of support for my brother's immigration sponsorship, will be liable & financially responsible for his spouse and child from an ex-girlfriend? Thank you.

Hello:

You will basically be on the hook for whomever is the beneficiary of the petition for whom you are signing for 10 years or until that person becomes a U.S. Citizen.
