Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Sponsorship of mom and brother

As a US citizen, I would like to sponsor my mom and my 18 year old brother. According to my research, it seems that I can sponsor my mom as an immediate relative which would allow her to move to the US fairly quickly but that I would have to file a separate petition for my brother and that his wait time would be much longer. Wouldn't my brother be automatically included with my mom as he is under the age of 21? I am hoping there's a positive solution here as we don't want to face a situation where my mom and I are living in the US and my 18 year old brother is living in Bangladesh. If it makes any difference, my brother is currently studying here on a F-1 visa. I appreciate any help. Thanks

Re: Sponsorship of mom and brother

Your reserach is right...you have to sponsor them separaetly. Easier way to do this... after your mom gets her green card she can sponsor your bhai lot faster.
