Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
New style for Interviews?
I soon have to appear at the SNA office for an interview with my husband. The letter also says that they would video tape the interview. I have never heard of such a thing, nor has any of my friends. Is it something new? What is the reason? What are they going to do with the film? Are we to be separated or not necessarily? Any ideas? Thank you.

Re: New style for Interviews?
This is a typical procedure designed to test the validity bona fide nature of the marriage and you will be asked questions separately.
If you have any other questions, you can contact my offices. Best of luck!
Re: New style for Interviews?
The BCIS (formerly INS) has always used different procedures to test whether or not two people are "actually" married. . . The videotape is used to keep a record of the interview. Your interview will most likely be seperate. Good luck. If you have any questions you can contact my office.
