Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Tourist visa for my Wife

I am a US Citizen.I work under Federal,w/ a good paying job.I remarried last year.I havent applied for her K3 visas bec I plan to retire next year in my home country(Phils).I realized I want to give her the opportunity to enjoy & experience life here in the US & see how this beautiful country has blessed me in many ways.I have only a year left to stay here & im also taking my aging parents w/ me on my retirement. How can I take my wife here on a tourist visa & prove that she is not an immigrant intent despite being married to a US Citizen.I know it may be a bit difficult to prove that bec K3 Visa is the best way to get her here. The embassy/immigration may think otherwise. If we will go through the petition it might be too late coz before it will be approved, Im on my way home for good.I just want to give this trip to her as a gift for our 1st wedding anniversary in Nov.Pls advise.i am so anxious for her to come before my bday, our anniv & spent Christmas & new year for the 1st time w/ me,and here, also for my mom's bday. Pls advise.Any word will be highly appreciated.

Re: Tourist visa for my Wife

In your case, I would probably try to obtain a B-1 visa, which a visa that allows the applicant to come to the U.S. for a short visit. It could be for business-related mattters, family emergency, and other short trips involving special circumstances. You will need to explain in detail your retiremente plans (buying a house in your home country, how are you going to cover your expenses, living arrangements, etc.)
