TR6 Stamp on Passport

Hello,

Boyfriend went to INS to extend expired stamp for

pending I-751, and told the petition was terminated.

Changed stamp on passport from CR6 to TR6, and

advised not to travel. What does this all mean? I

assume I-751 was denied? Thank you, for any hints?

We leave for travel in 4 days.

It sounds like your boyfriend has serious problems if his I-751 was denied. As you may know the I-751 is to remove conditions on his green card based on his marriage to a US citizen. Usually, this application is denied, the Immigration Service may initiate deportation proceedings. The Service was kind to caution you not to travel out of the US until this matter is cleared up. If he does depart the US, he may have difficulties re-entering the US. You should consult with an attorney in your local area ASAP. Good luck to you!
