Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I had got traffic citation of CVC 12500(a) for the first time in 2006, while I was driving with driving permit and I went to court and could show driver license and paid off the fine of $371 instantly. I have not got other ticket since then. Now I have applied for the citizenship in 2010 and I did not mention the citation as I do not know that misdemeanor should be mentioned. What should I do at the interview? Should I tell the Immigration Officer? What should I do? Help me!

Hello:
The Officer might view this as fraud. It must be disclosed in a manner that does not look like you were trying to commit fraud and hide something.
