Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

travel permit

I got married in February to US citizen and we have an attorney which we are not satisfied at all with. I am thinking just to take everything from him and find another one, but anyway, It has been two months since he has my all package ready to send to INS, but he hasn't done anything yet. My question is how long it takes to get the travel permit from INS? This is my big concern which he knows, and Can I send it to them? Everything is ready to send and perfect, there is no one problem.

Please what can I do?

And of course I paid him already........and I hope I find someone here who is willing to help and give me answer or advice for not thousands $.

thank you.

Re: travel permit

You need to file I-130, I-485, Employment authorization and travel document petition. I-130 package should have affidavit of support and Biographic info form as well. travel document can take anywhere from 2- 4 months ...please take a look at my site www.lawyers.com/amyghosh

The travel document can take several months, but you can select any attorney that you would like.
