Traveling after marriage

Can I travel after marriage to US citizen? I heard that I will need some special permit, is it true? We plan to get married in two weeks and we plan to travel in May. Is it possible for me?

yes, you can and May is definitely a possibility. You will file for the travel approval while simultaneously filing for Permanent Residency.
