Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
visa denial
My friend recently applied for a visa to go to a jewelry conference in Las Vegas, and was denied because the taxes from his father's store were not in order. The problem is he has been denied once before for this same reason, and a previous time before when applying to be a soccer coach in the U.S. Obviously it was careless of his father to not correct the previous mistake with the taxes, but I wonder what's his best recourse at this point if he wants to try again. or appeal? Also, at a visa interview, can the interviewee make a request/demand for a written explanation for the reason for denial? would it help for him to hire a lawyer in brasil?
He is not a minor by the way(24 years old)
Thank you so much for any help!

Re: visa denial
Yes...an attorney here can prepare the whole package to be taken at the time of the interview. He can try for L visa showing that his father's store will be openinga branch here.
