Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
waiting for the green card
i filed a i485 (thru employment - religious) in march last year and received a temp work authorization in april and was called for biometrics in june. i did not receive my green card yet. i called in december and was told that i'll hear from ins in 45 days and that didn't happen either.
i got married to an american citizen in october. should i still wait, or should i file again thru marriage?
also, i used the work permit to work for another employer. will that complicate things?
i really don't want to file again, but i will probably need some assistance in the process. please advise.

Re: waiting for the green card
You should wait a little bit then go back to the local office and inquire.
