Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
warrant of removal/deportation
My relative was granted by INS a 90 day parole under section 212(d)(5). She has received Form I-205 stating she is subject to removal from the US order by an immigration judge pursuant to section 212(a)(6)(a)(i). she received a court document indicating an order for removal from the US, and at the bottom of the form it states (other)- M. Steele permitted to withdraw, signed by an INS judge. She has purchased a home here, and resides here, what suggestions would you recommend for my relative. She has obtained valid drivers license, social security card, etc.. Thanks --name removed-- PS: If it would help may I fax the documents to you for review?

Re: warrant of removal/deportation
If your relative is in greater LA area, I'll review and explain her options. Tell her to get a lawyer or at least a consultation ASAP. She's got no time to waste. Good luck.
Re: warrant of removal/deportation
You did not include enough information. When was your relative paroled in. Was she aprrehended at the border. If someone is paroled in that means he or she will be eligible to adjust in the United States. Your relative needs to apply for some relief ASAP. Just because she has a house here means nothing. Was she living here before? Need all the facts!!!!
