Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
I am currently working based on OPT_EAD that I received after completing my education in US -- this EAD is valid for a period of one year.
However I recently got married to a US citizen and am filing for AOS with the usually paperwork: I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765.
My question is about an option on the I-765: What option should I select:
I am applying for:
>> Permission to accept employment.
>> Replacement (of lost employment authorization document)
>> Renewal of my permission to accept employment (attach previous employment authorization document).
Since I already have an existing EAD would it be considered a renewal -- Option 3
OR
Since this is a AOS based EAD it would be considered a new permission to accept employment -- Option 1
Similarly, for Q16:
Eligibility Categories: I have selected: (c) (9) -- would this be the right category for me?
Also, I have almost completed my paperwork -- would any of you legal folks be able to offer document review services to look over my paperwork?

I would check the "Permission to Accept Employment" box since you are applying for an I-765 under a new category. (c)(9) would be the correct category.
