Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
We have several agents working for our insurance agency. One agent left and start to solicit her previous clients and take business away from us. While she was still in the employ, she formed a corporation to conduct insurance business without revealing to
us, her employer. She finally left after 8 months. During this period there was definite conflict of interest. For now she is soliciting business away from us. Anything we can do or should do ?

You have several grounds to sue, unfair business competition, stealing of trade secrets (if she stole your customer list) etc. Get to a lawyer promptly before she inflicts further violence on your business.
