Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
Can an Attorney get an insurance co. to reimburse a claimant with receipts for medical expenses and proof of lost wages, When The Insurance co. says they only pay after the case settles no matter how long it takes?
Thanks, Larry T

An attorney cannot force the other person's insurance company to pay anything at any time, unless the other person gives you an assignment of their insurance coverage AND the policy does not contain a no-assignment clause. Insurance is to protect the insured from having to pay money for a covered claim. It does not give a right to you or anyone else to claim money directly from the insurance company. Your right to claim money is only against the insured person who caused your damages.
