Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

auto accident while delivering in my own car

Iwas involved in an auto accident while making a daily delivery of several pizzas for a major account with a High School Lunch Program.I only have Liability Insurance. At the time I could not afford the extra premium for using my car for employment..so I told the Ins.Agency I would only be working in-store.I have been delivering for Dominos for 2 yrs. now.Just recently, insurance issues have came up which caused me to review my disclosure....my Supervisor also read over it pointing out the exclusion of coverage while using my car for employment.Dominos has been aware of this for three months now ...but still allowed make this large delivery Mon thru Fri.

I fear that when the accident report becomes available,it will reveal that I was on the job and end up being responsible for the other driver's damages...with no help from my Ins.Co. or Dominos.

You want them to help you commit insurance fraud? Good luck.

You may have coverage from Domino's and possibly

from other sources. You should immediately contact

an attorney experienced in coverage matters, and

your defense should be tendered to Domino's as well

as your own insurer. Do not give statements to

anyone about the accident or employment or anything

else. Do only what your lawyer advises you to do.

Give him/her a copy of the accident report right

away, along with copies of any statements or reports

you gave or made.
