Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
auto accident fault
i was driving north on a one way street in the right lane at the speed limit of 35mph. from my right a large car {pont bonneville) ran the red light and i hit him (t-bone). he immediately said his light was green but two recorded witnesses gave conflicting stories to the police stating that i had the green light and the other driver was at fault. although i am stiff today i seem to be ok with motrin and the other driver was not hurt.
my greatest concern is my car a highly collectible 87 buick grand national. pretty much toast-bent frame
-smashed to some degree back to the seats.
we both have allstate and i know i only have PL/PD.
he had just a paper license.
do i have any recourse against this driver?
