Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

Auto accident with uninsured driver

I was in an auto accident with an uninsured driver - no one was injured, but both cars were extensively damaged. The other driver was driving an insured vehicle, but it wasn't his car -- and it turns out he's not covered for operating the vehicle. Depending on who is found at fault, can I be sued for damages? (It was explained to me that if I'm found at fault by insurance arbitration, that my insurance will cover both vehicles. Otherwise, they must cover their own damages.)

Re: Auto accident with uninsured driver

if it goes to insurance arbitration you are not going to be sued. dont worry about it, just let the insurance company handle it.
