Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

car accident

I had an accident a wile back i was driving my friends car the other party wants to get full amount from insurance they must know if i was acting as an agent the insurance atterney cant advise on how to answere this question this will change the gay the settlement wil turn out if i say yes the insurance must pay the amout and if they dont i can atleeast say i wanted them tom pay and protect my self rIGHT ? and if not this will go to trail and i can end up loosing and having to pay my self what should i do

Ok, if you were driving a friend's insured vehicle with the friend's permission, the friend's insurance should be defending you. Do you have an attorney? If you are not sure you should contact an attorney now. Good luck.
