I got into a car crash with the other party at fault. My insurance is full coverage and i always pay it. I suddenly get into a crash and find out i have been cancelled and have no insurance. I never got 1 notice or phone call although they have my phone number. It was cancelled 3 days previous to the crash. I feel i have been cheated and now have no insurance and posibble repo of my wrecked car. they even filed a claim when i called, then they never called back until 5 days later asking my address and saying they are gonna investigate.. what do i do?

You ARE required to get notice. Certain letters should be sent by a lawyer right away.

This is just general information. No representations are made and no attorney client relationship is established by this communication. In most matters there are strict time limitations within which actions may be taken or your rights will be compromised. We are not taking any action on your matter and will not be considered your attorney or tax representative until both you and we have signed a fee agreement.
We, therefore will take no action on your behalf unless a written retainer agreement is signed. There are strict deadlines, called statutes of limitation, within which claims or lawsuits must be filed. Therefore, if you do not retain SELIKLAW, you should immediately seek the services of another attorney or other advisor.
Re: car accident-no notice of cancellation
Some insurance companies are notorious for such bad faith conduct. You should immediately get a lawyer and mount aggressive campaign so that your rights are not waived.
First, send everything in writing and keep copies. Second, if there is a phone conversation, write a letter memorializing the conversations, and keep copies. Third, file an immediate complaint with California Department of Insurance.
I am however curious, did you change your address and perhaps forget to let them know? Or, did you forget to pay your premiums?
