Car crash

Hi

I rescently got in a car accident.My question is the car i was driving was under my brothers name as well as the insurance.He filled a claim letting them know that i was the one involved do you think the lost will be covered.

It should be unless your brother's policy named his as the sole covered driver. If you have insurance, you should report it to your company a.s.a.p. Good luck and thanks for your question.

Like anything else in the law, it depends. If you live in the same house as your brother, family members might be excluded. If you were named as an additional driver, it should be covered. It depends whether you were (or were not) a permissive driver, etc. Tell your brother to check his policy (which no one ever reads until after the fact, anyway). Hope you weren't hurt. -Robert
