Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
My two cars were hit as they were parked on June 14th outside my house. The insurance has taken action and both my cars were towed is there anythin i can do to make them pay for rental cars?
Me and my father have been carless and have no transportation due to the accident and I have left numerous messages and emails to the insurance company and they do not return my calls. Is there anything legal we can do to make them pay for rental cars since we are the claimants?

Unless you have rental car coverage under your insurance, your insurance company doesn't owe you anything as far as rentals. If you are dealing with the insurance for the driver who hit your car, you will have to rent cars and then demand that they reimburse you. The good news is that, unlike your insurance which owes you nothing without the extra coverage, the at fault driver or his insurance owes you for loss of use, which means rentals.
