Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
In a clear violation of CVC 22517, a person opened her car door unsafely into traffic in front of me, causing $2000 damage to my truck. But her insurance company refused to pay the damages. What can I do?

You might have to take her to small claims court to get a judgment for negligence. Then, her insurance should pay it.

Tender it to YOUR insurance company and let THEM chase her insurance company for repayment.
