Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

What percentage can ERISA lawyers charge for their services? A few lawyers have told me anywhere from 30% - 40%. But one lawyer told me they could only charge 15% like work comp lawyers, but he wasn't an ERISA lawyer. Where can I find the truth?

There is no set fee, but courts are authorized to award fees in ERISA cases. If there are medical malpractice implications, then MICRA may limit the fees, but MICRA and ERISA overlaps are not that common.
