exculpatory evidence

the paint of my car was scratched while parked at the building where I work. The parking manager at Ampco made me fill out a standard insurance claim information form and had it submitted to their admin. office. that office replied back that they are not responsible for ''park-and-lock'' accidents etc. in the garage, and asked me to call my insurance company. I was told by my co-workers that there is an exculpatory law that deals with this kind of situation. can I get some info and should I pursue this case legally if there's a law that states otherwise? thank you.

File a claim with your insurance if the damage is substantial (more than your deductible) and let them go after someone, if they think they are responsible. However, the parking ticket usually has waiver language on it and that can be enforced.
