Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
Can I be held responsible?
I have a vehicle which is insured in my name and the name of my roommate. If he were to get in an accident and be at fault, could I have any repercussions? He has a lot of money sitting in CD's and is not insured for work just pleasure driving. Thank you for any help.

Re: Can I be held responsible?
Yes. Someone could sue you for negligence in permitting him to drive and also if your car needed repair and you neglected it.
