Legal Question in Insurance Law in California
We are insurance brokers. Can we seek damages from the insurance company if they cancel our contract with them for wrong and invalid reasons ? Can we seek recourse with department of insurance ? Must termination be non-discriminatory ?

There are certainly situations in which a broker can sue a carrier for wrongful termination of the broker's contract. I'm 99% sure the DoI does not get involved. Whether the termination must be non-discriminatory would depend on the type of discrimination.
