Insurance Canceled Many times during Employment
During my 12 years with my my former employer, we were charged for insurance premiums as part of our pay, during this time we were canceled many times for non-payment of insurance, although we had these deductions from our check. did they break any laws and what, if anything can we do? tahnk you in advance for your help.

It sounds to me that your gripe is with your former employer. If it didn't pay your premiums and kept the money, you might have a conversion (theft) case against your former employer. However, you can only reach back 3 years from the date you file a lawsuit. If you had a written agreement that they would pay but they did not, the statute of limitation is 4 years.

Were any medical claims unpaid? Did you suffer any losses? If not you might hold the employer liable for labor code and possible insurance code violations. Talk to a lawyer who is familiar with this area, as you may be limited in how far back you can recover.
