I have a pending case in Los Angeles( claim for damaged personal property) The other party wants to take a deposition, but I live in Florida now. Can I request deposition to be taken here, in Florida?

Re: Insurance claim
If its your deposition, yes. Under California law, an in state deponent can be required to travel, but only in state, and only within 150 miles of residence.

Re: Insurance claim
You should be able to have the deposition taken in Florida, but it may depend on the type of case and your status in it.
