Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

My insurance policy may not cover the entire proprty damage

I was at fault in an accident and because there was extensive damage to the other cars, my policy may not cover all the damage. SHould I get a lawyer now or is it best to wait and see if a suit is filed against me?

the decision is basically up to you. however, from the facts given, it appears that the lawsuit against you is "inevitable", so its probably not a bad idea to begin preparing your case/defenses as soon as possible on your own or by retaining an attorney to ultimately represent you in this matter. if you email directly with more facts in respect to how the accident occurred, what the accident report actually reads, as well as the "nuts and bolts" of your policy regarding this type of coverage, i may be able to further assist you legally in this matter.
